Take part in a study of trans and/or non-binary parent families!

The Centre for Family Research is seeking participants for a ground-breaking study of trans and/or non-binary parent families. The study focusses on families with (at least) one trans and or/non-binary parent (who has identified as such since before their child was born), with a child aged 0-10 years. The aim of this study is to increase understanding about the experiences of trans and/or non-binary parents, as there is currently very little research that looks at trans and non-binary parents’ family life. It is hoped that the research will inform policy makers worldwide and increase public awareness about diversity in family life.

Who can take part?

The research team are looking for parents who have identified as trans and/or non-binary since before having their child (via any method), with a child aged 0-10 years. Taking part in the study is confidential. As a thank you, families will receive a gift voucher. The study has received ethical approval from the University of Cambridge.
