Take Part in Workshops to Research Online Sperm Donation's Ideal Futures

Whether you are a Pride Angel member to look for sperm, or to donate it, we'd love to hear from you. The Online Sperm Donation Project is the largest-ever study into online sperm donation and is led by Leeds Beckett University. We are entering the final phase of our research and are holding a series of 'action research' workshops to explore what kinds of ideal futures are possible for online sperm donation.

These workshops are all about people's 'ideal futures' for online sperm donation, i.e. what you would like to see change or improve, or stay the same, for online sperm donation, and trying to create that future. Over four workshops, we will share some of the project's findings so far as a graphic novel/comics and drawings, facilitate discussions about people's ideal futures for online sperm donation and then work together as a group to carry out an action to move closer to that ideal future.

You are invited to register your interest in participating in 4 workshops between June and December 2025. The first of these workshops will take place in-person in Leeds, UK. The groups will then decide how and when to meet for the future workshops. The dates of the initial workshops are:

Recipients (people looking for sperm online, people who have conceived through online sperm donation, and their partners): 23rd June, 10am-4pm.
Donors (people who donate sperm online and their partners): 24th June, 10am-4pm.

In order to support your attendance, there is reimbursement available for:
  • Travel to/from Leeds within the UK
  • Modest accommodation in Leeds, UK
  • Childcare costs
  • A £40 thank you payment for participating
